Cooinda Court Aged Care approached this project with a clear goal: to refresh their visual identity and create a more contemporary, welcoming online presence. The brief called for a brand that felt calm, professional and reflective of their ethos – while also being versatile enough to work across signage, uniforms, documents, and digital platforms.
The logo design is built around a fingerprint motif – a visual symbol of Cooinda Court’s commitment to individualised care. A fingerprint is inherently personal, unique to each person, and carries the weight of identity, history and connection. For an aged care facility, it represents more than just a mark – it reflects a promise to recognise the individual behind the need for care, and to treat them with dignity and respect. It also communicates a sense of belonging, security, and being seen.
The colour palette was selected to support this message – warm, calming and grounded in tones associated with care, trust and wellbeing. The overall system was designed to feel fresh and current, without being clinical or overly corporate.
This project was more than a rebrand – it was about aligning the visual identity with the experience Cooinda Court works to create every day: one that is supportive, human, and focused on the individual.
