This project bought to life the fun, vibrant colours of each season, and the simple nature of their repeat cycles. Seasons & Spice is a mock restaurant created to deliver a branding and styling project for the hospitality industry. With a creative fusion cuisine focusing on fresh farm-to-plate produce, the restaurant brands itself on being fresh and vibrant which has been successfully emulated in the design and branding.

Adding branding to the space meant keeping the balance between an inviting, relaxed décor, while making an impactful branded statement. The idea to use the symbols from the logo on a very large scale was to embrace the artistic nature of the logo in

The logo was designed in both dark and light variation so it could be applied to a range of applications. In a setting such as exterior signage, the design has to compete with a wide variety of surrounding elements. Here the white version of the logo

The logo was designed in both dark and light variation so it could be applied to a range of applications. In a setting such as exterior signage, the design has to compete with a wide variety of surrounding elements. Here the white version of the logo was used to provide high contrast so it stands out and is easily identifiable. The simplicity of design and colour speaks to the ethos of the brand.

The dark version of the logo works perfectly for the cover of the menu design. The design choice here took into consideration both functionality and brand recognition.

The hand-drawn graphics added to the menu speaks to the authenticity of the restaurant's farm to table philosophy, and adds the element of colloquialism that is the embodiment of the brand.
